“FOUNTAIN BLOSSOM” takes its inspiration from the hand-painted floral motifs found in 18th-century pattern books. The flowers were originally inspired by the rural Danish landscape, drawn from the flora of meadows, wild fields, and forest edges. The flowers were delicately drawn in a naturalistic style, outlined on tracing paper and with an eye for rhythm and botanical detail. This jacquard woven artwork features birds and various flowers, including convolvulus, rose petals, violets, clover leaves, and carnations, combined with stripes and à la grecque borders. BLOSSOM FOUNTAIN gathers a beautifully framed tableau of scattering flowers, cascading like a large bloom—breaking away from the traditional layout of the time into a modern, endless symbol of life, personal growth, creativity, and nature.
