VISITS is an ongoing series exploring the intimate worlds that form around rituals and the spaces we inhabit.

For this edition, creative duo Isolée enter the language and ritual of spring, capturing AVILLAFRANCISKA’s collection of bedding and house garments in a photostory "THE LIGHT THAT BREAKS SPRING" shaped by light, air, and the gestures of daily care and renewal. 

Accompanied by original poetry from AVILLAFRANCISKA, this VISIT lingers in the threshold of the season: where winter softens, where light returns, and where the rite of spring begins again.

Break the light.

Or wait until it breaks itself.

As if newly formed, something just released 
from its shell.

It presses outward,
 against what has held through the long winter.

Then, a quiet break.

The surface gives.

The light arrives differently now.

Closer.

More exact.

It settles without weight.

We turn towards it, without thinking.

Let it remain.

Air moves.


The body follows.

A shift,
 barely visible, yet precise.

Held in the weave in the space between,


in what is no longer closed.
