Our manufacturers are carefully selected, with a shared dedication to craft products of exquisite quality. The bed linen is produced in Portugal by a family-owned GOTS-certified manufacturer, ensuring a supply chain of GOTS-certified organic yarn and the production process. AVILLAFRANCISKA takes a conscious approach to sourcing materials and avoids large inventories by purchasing in small quantities to inspire a more reflective and slower approach to consumption. Products are launched as capsules outside of a fixed rhythm and seasons.

The double-twisted, combed organic cotton yarns are grown and spun from fine fibers using a premium compact spinning technique.
This method combined with the mercerized finishing insures superior strength, smoothness and shine to the surface. To create a rich, textured feel, the surface of the jacquard pattern is delicately raised by combining a double-twisted warp with a single weft of slightly lower yarn count. Our jacquards are sateen-based, incorporating a variety of refined weaving structures to create intricate patterns. The yarns are yarn-dyed, ensuring high colorfastness and creating an interplay of combined hues in the jacquard pattern.
